2022 Rwanda Lunar Year of the Tiger 1oz Silver BU Coin

In 2017, Rwanda gained its own lunar collection of silver coins for sale. The Lunar Ounce Series, the Rwandan collection comes with 1 oz silver coins available in BU and Proof specimens. The latest release honors the Year of the Tiger on the Chinese lunar calendar.

Obverse fields on the 2022 1 oz Rwandan Silver Lunar Tiger Coin include a depiction of the powerful tiger for the Year of the Tiger. The design field features the tiger at the center with a design element that consists of a shattered-glass look that includes varying textures on the different shards. The Chinese symbol for the tiger is featured above the design field.

Reverse visuals on 2022 Rwandan Silver Lunar Tiger Coins include the national coat of arms for Rwanda. Featured on all of the coins in the series, the national seal includes a traditional basket at the center that is flanked by a stem of sorghum and a branch of coffee. There is a cog wheel beneath the basket and traditional warrior shields on either side of the design element.
