This marvelous 2 Oz Silver coin is dedicated to the Gecko, a small lizard very common on our planet, characterized by the ability to climb on smooth surfaces. The coin has a Proof quality and comes in a capsule, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 333 pieces worldwide.
The reverse of this wonderful coin depicts a gecko crossing the two sides of the coin, intending to represent symbolically a transition, a finish line between an ending phase and the following new beginning. Around the figure of the gecko there are circular lines recalling the idea of water rings on the surface of this metaphoric dimension, with also regular geometric 3D shapes.
The obverse of the coin shows the back of the gecko leaving this final 2D dimension and around the obverse, the inscriptions: REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN, the issuing country, 2000 FRANCS CFA – the face value, 2 OZ 9999 ARGENT PUR – the weight and the fineness of the pure Silver and 2023 – the year of issue.
