The second release of the series commemorating the guitars of Fender® is dedicated to the Stratocaster® style instrument in the vibrant Fiesta Red color. Fiesta Red was Fender’s first official “custom color” launched in 1957, and available for an extra charge.

Obverse: A portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is located on the obverse. “ELIZABETH II,” “SOLOMON ISLANDS” and “2 DOLLARS” are inscribed along the guitar’s neck, with the issue date “2022” and the coin’s serial number positioned on the guitar’s body.

Reverse: The reverse features the iconic Stratocaster design in full color, featuring a woodgrain pattern on the fretboard and headstock, ivory pick guard and gorgeous Fiesta Red body. Inscriptions include “FENDER” and “1 OZ 999.9 AG.”

Featuring the classic guitar shape, the coin possesses a remarkably sharp strike, expertly finished surfaces and fabulous eye appeal. The coin is sealed in a specially shaped capsule and presented in a handsome window-style box boasting a black and white image borrowed from the famous “You won’t part with yours either” 1960s Fender advertising campaign, which portrays a figure riding a motorcycle with a guitar strapped to his back.
