The Royal Australian Mints latest collection of silver bullion coins is known as Australias Most Dangerous. The collection offers a new design with each date mark in the series and comes with depictions of various animals native to the continent that pose a danger to mankind. Now, 2022 1 oz Royal Australian Mint Silver Desert Scorpion Coins are available to you for purchase online at JM Bullion.

In 2020, the Royal Australian Mint released the new Australias Most Dangerous Series. These 1 oz silver coins come with an effigy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse side with each release. The reverse side of the coins offers a new design for each date mark. So far, the series has depicted the Redback Spider in 2020 and continued in 2021 with the Great White Shark.

For the third release in the collection, the Royal Australian Mint depicts the Urodacus yashcenkoi. Known colloquially as the desert scorpion, this species is found throughout various arid locations in central Australia. Males and females in the species have different sizes, with males generally longer from mouth to the tip of the stinger and females shorter in length, but larger in overall size.

Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse of 2022 1 oz Royal Australian Mint Silver Desert Scorpion Coins. The portrait of the Queen shown here was created for the Royal Mint of England in 2015. Created by Jody Clark, the right-profile portrait depicts the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown at the age of 89. This design came to Australian coins in 2018.
