This coin is the first in the “Real Heroes” series by Coin Invest Trust (CIT). It’s a low-mintage, ultra-high-relief platinum proof coin that pays tribute to fighter pilots. The coin is a result of advanced smartminting® technology, which gives it a realistic and highly detailed design.

Key Features and Design

• Reverse: The reverse features a close-up of a fighter pilot. The visor is a mirrored proof surface, which evokes the look of aviator sunglasses. The design also includes a partly polished honeycomb pattern and detailed elements that extend to the edge of the coin.
• Obverse: The obverse shows two pilots ready to board their plane, along with the inscription “ONLY THE BRAVE ARE FREE”. It also features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue (2020), the issuing country (Cook Islands), and the face value ($250).
