The obverse of the 2022 Proof British Trade Dollar Silver Coin depicts Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. This popular bust is courtesy of Royal Mint engraver Jody Clark, who completed the portrait in 2015. The Queen is featured facing the right side and wearing both the Coronation Necklace and the George IV State Diadem. Hallmarks are shown along the coin’s border.
On the reverse field of 2022 1 oz Proof Trade Dollar Silver Coins is a depiction of Britannia. While the traditional Trade Dollar showed a full portrait of Britannia, this honorary design depicts her in a three-quarter profile. Also shown is her trident as well as a globe with a decorated map of the United Kingdom. The words Trade Dollar are shown on the top left side of the coin, and on the lower right side are the initials for the East India Company.
