This beautiful 1 Oz Silver coin celebrates Pop Culture artist Burton Morris with a new issue: Gorilla. The coin is shaped, has a wonderful coloration and comes in a themed case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 2.500 pieces worldwide!
The reverse of the coin features one of Morris’ best-known icons and features the Gorilla on a tower inspired by the famous movie King Kong on the Empire State building. Burton Morris is best known for his bold and graphic depictions of American icons. His distinctive style is characterized by radiant black outlines and vivid colors that emit energy in all of his artwork.
The obverse of the coin features the signature of the artist, along with the Public Seal of Niue and the inscriptions: “2023” – the year of issue, “2 DOLLARS” – the face value and “1 troy ounce 999.9 Ag” – the weight and the fineness of the Silver. The obverse also includes the serial number of the coin at the bottom.
