Christmas is the most splendid time of the year for those celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, as well as the secular festival involving Santa Claus and his team of flying reindeer. The Perth Mint is well known for its commemorative coin releases and has a beautiful option for those buying silver this Christmas season.

Each 2021 2 oz Antique Colorized Australian Silver Christmas Wonderland Coin is individually packaged by Perth Mint. The coins are directly housed in black boxes with a clear lid and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. All of this is packaged together inside of a Christmas-themed gift box.

These coins are unique releases in Perth Mints range of Christmas-themed products. The coins come with a six-pointed snowflake insert in the center. As you roll the coin on its end, the snowflake gently rotates around. The snowflake has a 24-karat gold plating and the entire field of the coin comes with an antique polish. There is also colorization in the background field that brings to life the Christmas Eve scene.

Obverse design elements on the 2021 Antique Colorized Australian Silver Christmas Wonderland Coins depict a nighttime setting. There are countless cottages, children building snowmen, and candles lit in the windows of the homes throughout the field. Colorization helps bring to life this nighttime scene as the people prepare for the arrival of Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.

Reverse visuals on 2021 2 oz Antique Colorized Silver Christmas Wonderland Coins include an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is set at the top of the design field with the remainder of the design element showcasing snowflakes falling throughout the visual field of the coin. The portrait of the Queen was created in 2015 by Jody Clark and came to Australian coins in 2018.
