Of all the creatures in Chinese culture, the mythical dragon is the most auspicious. Despite its fearsome appearance comprising a scaly body, eagle-like talons and horned head with demonic eyes, the Chinese dragon is revered as benevolent, noble and a potent symbol of abundance and good fortune.
