2022 Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Hera 1oz Silver Antiqued Coin

Hera is one of the most famous deities from Ancient Greece and is well-known as the wife of Zeus, the ruler of Olympus. Hera was previously featured in the 2014-2015 Gods and Goddesses of Olympus Series from Perth Mint. In 2020, the mint revived these designs in a new Gods of Olympus Series offering different choices for investors and collectors.

Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse side of 2022 1 oz Antique Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Hera Silver Coins. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. This effigy was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley for the Royal Mint of England and served as the fourth-generation British design.

Hera is depicted in the reverse design of 2022 Antique Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Hera Coins. This design is the same one that featured in the original Goddesses of Olympus Series in 2015 and shows Hera seated upon her throne in a temple built in her honor. There is a lion seated at her right side and a peacock on her left.
