Colored kookaburra design
The coin portrays a colored representation of two kookaburras perched on the branches of a shrub displaying the crimson flowers of Australian native Waratah. The design incorporates the inscription ‘KOOKABURRA’, The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark, the 2023 year-date and the coin’s weight and purity.
Memorial obverse
This coin portrays the official ‘Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse’, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign – ‘1952 – 2022’.
