Struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, this Australian Kookaburra coin has been prepared with a colored privy mark to celebrate ANDA’s Money Expo event in Brisbane on 13 and 14 May 2023.

The Australian Kookaburra is a sought-after coin series featuring annual designs of our iconic ‘laughing’ bird. In 2023, four colored privy mark issues will be issued to mark ANDA Money Expo events in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.
Colored privy mark
The Brisbane Money Expo ANDA Special portrays two kookaburras perched on the branches of a shrub displaying the flowers of Australian native waratah. As well as The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the design includes a colored privy mark representation of a brolga, a large grey crane famous for its energetic dance performance, which became the official bird emblem of Queensland in 1986.
Memorial Obverse
This coin portrays the official ‘Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse’, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign – ‘1952 – 2022’.
Coin show packaging
The coin is housed in an illustrated presentation card featuring ‘BRISBANE MONEY EXPO ANDA SPECIAL’ and the Australasian Numismatic Dealer’s Association’s logo.
