2024 Tuvalu James Bond Sean Connery 4 oz Silver Proof Seven Coin Collection

This seven-coin collection celebrates Sean Connery’s starring role in six James Bond movies released by EON Productions between 1962 and 1971.

As the original Bond, Sean Connery’s powerful portrayal established the charismatic operative also known as 007 as one of cinema’s most recognisable characters.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 99.99% pure silver, the individual 1oz and six 1/2oz coins are issued as legal
tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 500 of the James Bond Sean Connery Collection.

Available exclusively as part of this collection, the 1oz coin’s reverse portrays a coloured image of Sean Connery leaning
on the bonnet of an Aston Martin DB5. Incorporated in the design is the inscription ‘JAMES BOND’, and a 24-carat
gilded background featuring the 007 gun logo, and spiral gun barrel graphics from the franchise’s signature opening
sequence.

The coin’s gilded obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the weight, purity,
monetary denomination, and 2024 year-date.

Also included in the collection are six 1/2oz releases marking Sean Connery’s portrayal of James Bond in Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, and Diamonds Are Forever.

The obverse of each coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2021 year-date.

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the collection is housed in a James Bond themed seven- coin display case.
