Other times you’ll find him with his money-grubbing boss, Mr. Krabs, or working alongside his sourpuss neighbour, Squidward, or practicing kah-rah-tay with his squirrelly pal, Sandy Cheeks. Struck by The Perth Mint from 2oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 2,000 of SpongeBob SquarePants 2024 2oz Silver Proof Gilded Coin.

The coin’s reverse portrays SpongeBob SquarePants within a circular pattern. 24-carat gilding adorns the character’s head, arms, tie and pants, as well as the coin’s rims and serrated edge. Also in the design is the official ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ logo and flower-shaped cloud motifs.

The coin’s obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2024 year-date.

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, each coin is presented in a replica of SpongeBob’s pineapple home, which is packaged in a themed presentation box with a customised sleeve.
