2024 Tuvalu Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo 1 oz Silver Proof Coin

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a band of pizza-loving brothers like no other. Exposed to ‘mutagenic ooze’ as baby turtles, they were transformed into crime-fighting New York superheroes expert in the art of ninjutsu.

As the group’s leader, Leonardo is a role model for Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, his younger siblings. The wisest and most responsible of the brothers, he is highly focused on training. Leonardo’s speed and agility make him an exceptional fighter, especially in hand-to-hand combat. Leonardo is distinguished by a blue eye mask and his signature weapons – a pair of katana swords with concealed tanto blades in the handles.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Leonardo 2024 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin.

The coin’s reverse portrays Leonardo in colour, busting through a brick wall with city buildings in the background. The design includes the inscription ‘LEONARDO’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

The obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2024-year date.

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is part of a series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character coins scheduled for release. Each piece comes in a presentation box and shipper, and the boxes of the coins stack together to form a city scape scene!
