This stunning 2 Oz Silver coin is dedicated to the natural phenomenon that colors the sky above the magnetic poles of the earth, the Northern Lights. The reverse of the coin presents the design of a wolf in Silver howling at the moon with a realistic and colored background. The obverse of the coin depicts three wolves walking and howling, the Coat of Arms of Chad and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD” – the issuing country and “10000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value. The coin is made with a new minting technique, called “Bi-Metal Plus”, applied to give an impressive size and weight. This is made possible by combining 11.5 Oz of Copper embodied within 2 Oz of pure Silver to deliver a super Ultra-High Relief.
