2022 Niue Aletai Meteorite 1oz Colour Coin

This exceptional coin issue is made out of a fragment of the Aletai meteorite. The first fragment of this meteorite was found in 1898 in the Aletai mountains which stretch across the borderlands of Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China.  As the material of the coin is assumed to be 4.56 billion years old, it is a fascinating witness to the origins of our solar system.
