Description
The Isle of Man Noble series was introduced in 1983. Since the initial release nearly four decades ago, the series has been sporadically issued in platinum, gold and silver varieties. This example is struck in the double-thick Piedfort style using CIT’s smartminting technology.

Breathtaking Noble Imagery
Obverse: The obverse portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was crafted by Jody Clark, an award-winning sculptor/engraver for The Royal Mint of Great Britain since 2012. Inscribed “QUEEN ELIZABETH II,” “ISLE OF MAN” and “2020.”
Reverse: The reverse features an imposing view of the Viking long ship, the “Thusly,” at full sail, as it slices through the water led by its distinctive dragon head prow. The image is encircled by an intricate Celtic knot border, with the triskeles emblem from the Isle of Man’s Coat of Arms above. Inscribed “AG .999 2 OUNCES” and “ONE NOBLE” below the ocean waves.
