The obverse displays a right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II along with inscriptions identifying the Isle of Man and the monarch’s name. Four traditional triskelion symbols separate the inscriptions around the portrait. These historic symbols reflect the island’s long cultural heritage.

Meanwhile, the reverse features a detailed Viking longboat sailing across the sea with its sail fully extended.
